About Panchayats and event availability

What a Panchayat is

A Panchayat is a scheduled discussion organised independently or within a community. The organiser is the Sarpanch and can appoint eligible Panch to help manage participation. This feature may be unavailable in your app while the platform has it disabled.

When scheduling is available

1. Open the Panchayat area or an eligible community's Panchayat section.
2. Read the event details and whether access is open or invitation-only.
3. Accept or decline an invitation, or join if the available access rules permit it.
4. Follow the organiser's instructions. Where provided, raise your hand to request speaking permission.

Live audio is not currently available

Scheduling, invitations and participation controls do not mean an audio call is connected. The current release does not provide a production live-audio service. Do not rely on a microphone toggle as confirmation that others can hear you. Check the event screen and future release information for availability before planning a live audio session.
