Create a Moment

1. Open the Moments or story creation control.
2. Select a supported photo, video, text or poll option shown in your app.
3. Review the content and audience, then publish.
4. Open your own active Moment to check it and use its available controls.

Audience and availability

Moments are temporary updates. The app shows which updates are still available. You can choose supported audiences in your privacy settings; account blocks and privacy restrictions still apply. The standard creation allowance is five stories per calendar day. Availability and other limits can change with platform policy.

• A creator's active stories can appear together in one segmented ring.
• Polls allow one current choice per account; changing your vote replaces the previous choice.
• An expired or removed story link may no longer open.

Temporary does not mean uncopyable

A viewer may take a screenshot or keep a copy. Share only information you are comfortable showing to the chosen audience. Report a safety concern while providing as much context as you can, even if the original Moment has expired.
