Privacy & safety
Choose who can see and interact with content
Understand post audiences, comments, downloads and private-space access.

Before publishing
- Review the audience available in the composer.
- Check comment permissions and any creator download preference that applies.
- For a community post, read that community's posting and approval rules.
- Publish only when the selected audience matches your intention.
Sharing does not widen access
A saved post, copied link or private message share still checks the original content's permissions. A person outside a private community cannot use a shared link to bypass membership. A deleted, restricted or expired item may stop opening even if the link was previously valid.
- Following someone does not grant access to every field or space they own.
- Message permissions are separate from post and profile audiences.
- Reel downloads require both platform availability and creator permission.
Limits of audience controls
An authorised viewer may take a screenshot, record a screen or retain a downloaded file. Changing privacy, blocking someone or deleting a post cannot recall those copies. Report misuse and contact support with the original link or useful context rather than sharing harmful material more widely.
