Follow an account

1. Open the person's profile and choose Follow.
2. If the profile requires approval, wait for your request to be accepted.
3. Use the pending-request control to cancel a request or Following to unfollow when available.

Review requests to you

1. Open the follow-request notification or your own follower count.
2. Choose Requests in the Followers area.
3. Review the account and accept or decline. If a save fails, retry before assuming your decision was applied.

What following changes

Following can add eligible posts to your Following feed and may affect access to follower-only content or messages. It does not reveal private fields the other person has hidden. Follower and following lists respect privacy, blocks and inactive accounts. Joining a community or following a business is a separate action.
