Two allowances work together
The standard free-member allowance is two distinct people and 20 messages per day. An approved, active live Upmanch Verified subscription has unlimited messaging under the default policy. Administrators can change the allowances and feature access, so use the current limit shown in the app.
- Sending 10 messages to one person uses one recipient slot and 10 messages.
- Sending to a third distinct person is blocked once a two-person allowance is used, even if fewer than 20 messages were sent.
- After 20 successful sends, a 20-message allowance blocks further sends even to an existing recipient.
What counts and when it resets
Text, photos, voice messages, forwarded messages and private post shares count as sends. Sharing to several people uses one send for each recipient. Editing, deleting or unsending does not give the allowance back. Failed transactions do not consume it. Usage is shared across your devices and resets at midnight India Standard Time (Asia/Kolkata).
When you reach a limit
Unlimited messaging does not override a recipient's privacy choices, a block, safety rules or a platform-disabled feature. Complimentary verification is a separate tier and does not automatically include subscriber allowances.
- Read the limit notice to see which allowance is exhausted.
- Wait for the daily reset or open Upmanch Verified to review available benefits and eligibility.
- Complete identity approval and an eligible live subscription before expecting subscriber allowances. A test purchase or pending application does not unlock live benefits.
